Swing It Inc. was founded by Yvette Swinger, a product developer, marketer, and beauty industry professional with more than 30 years of experience creating products for the purchased hair market.

Throughout her career, Yvette recognized an important gap in the industry. While wigs, weaves, braids, and hair extensions continued to grow in popularity, very few products were specifically formulated to care for it. Consumers often had to rely on products designed for natural hair, which could leave synthetic and human weave hair looking dull and feeling heavy, or becoming tangled.

Recognizing this need, Yvette set out to develop specialized formulas that addressed the unique challenges of protective styles. The result was the creation of Weave Aide®, Wig It®, and Distinctiv® product lines designed to help consumers protect their investment, extend the life of the hair, and maintain a tangled free shiny style.
